On January 28,2023 (Saturday), YATS RESTAURANT in conjunction with YATS WINE CELLARS will host a wine-paired French dinner.  This will be delectable four-course dinner featuring classic and popular French recipes accompanied by carefully selected French vintage wines from the cellars of YATS.   It will be served at the fine-dining private restaurant of CELLAR 1855 located in the entrance of Clearwater Resort in Clark.


Course 1: Escargots à la Bourguignonne
A classic French delicacy of Burgundy Snails in garlic butter sauce.
Wine: 1999 Tavel E. Guigal

Course 2: Vichyssoise
One of the most popular French soup recipes – a creamy blend of potatoes and leek, can be served hot but traditionally enjoyed chilled
Wine: NV Cremant de Bourgogne, Aergeter

Course 3: Canard a l’orange
A time-honored French duck recipe of pan-seared breast of duck served with an orange flavored wine sauce
Wine: 1997 Saint-Romain, Maison Jean-Philippe Marchand

Course 4: Clafoutis
A baked French dessert of cherries supported by a firm custard.
Wine: 1983 Chateau du Mayne, Sauternes

Wine-paired meals have been a regular event at YATS which has entertained the ever-growing population of wine-lovers and foodies in Pampanga.  Not only is the number growing, the level of sophistication is escalating equally as fast, if not faster.  This is very rewarding for staff and management at YATS WINE CELLARS which operates the largest wine store in the Philippines based in Clark Pampanga.  It shows that all the years of hard word, especially in the early stages when the majority prefers beer and liquor.
