Yats Wine complements Burgundy selection with an Oregon Pinot Noir

2014 marked the beginning of an interest surge for elegant yet intensely interesting red wine. The move away from the high octane blockbuster Cabernet and Shiraz has brought many seasoned wine drinkers to the enchanting world of Burgundy whose (red) wines are made almost exclusively from Pinot Noir. Yats Wine has been offering fans a substantial selection of fine Burgundy, covering village AC, 1er to Grand Cru. To keep things interesting, a small selection of Pinots from Oregon is being offered, like this Evesham Wood Pinot from Oregon’s Willamette Valley. It is fuller than Burgundy, more fruit-driven yet with good acidity. Only a small number of bottles are available now, so might as well drink less, drink better.
