In this upcoming event on Wednesday April 22nd the focus is on great white wines from all major wine regions around the world. White wine has taken a back seat to red for far too long. Problems in the past mainly due to the fact that white wines are less stable than reds have been rectified by modern technology. This makes white wines incredibly complex and exciting. It is a myth that white wines are not age-worthy. Given a decade or more in bottle, white wine like its red counterpart develops tertiary characteristics that make it much more than a light fruity wine quaffed down with fish. Today's white wine pairs well with hearty dishes of pork, poultry and pasta.
